![]() Beshaba's realm, the Blood Tor, linked directly to the Abyss. Powerful entities of light and goodness, they were the traditional enemies of all manner of fiends and served as the warriors, stewards, and proxies of the divine powers. ![]() It linked via the Astral Plane to the planes of the Prime Material (such as Toril) and a number of portals directly connected it with Hammergrim and the Blood Rift. Angel (Jewish, Christian, and Muslim) Angels, also known as the aasimon ( pronounced: / æs n / ASS-eh-mun ), were celestials that hailed from any of the upper planes. Other sentient creatures that dwelled in Arcadia included hollyphants, planetars, foo creatures and the occasional deva. The Barrens of Doom and Despair consisted of a single infinite plane. The primary inhabitants of Arcadia were the spirit legions formed from the souls of good and lawful warriors, much like their evil counterparts in Acheron. The cosmology for the 3rd edition of D&D was altered substantially so that it contained twenty-six Outer Planes, arranged in a tree-like structure around the central 'trunk' of the material plane of Toril. He was the creator and preserver of the TelQuessir. The Forgotten Realms cosmology was originally the same as that of a standard Dungeons & Dragons campaign. D&Ds Outer Planes contain its various afterlives - the realms where gods reside and where reality is shaped by beliefs. Kuraulyek dwelled in this plane's Underdark. Corellon, or more fully Corellon Larethian ( pronounced: / k r l n l r i n / kor-el-un la-RETH-ee-an listen ), whose titles included Creator of the Elves and the Protector, was the patron god of all elves. Demons and angels are a common sight in Dungeons & Dragons, and they have their own homes in the multiverse. Inhabitants ĭeities who made their home on this plane included Bane, Beshaba, Hoar, Loviatar, and Talona. There was no water to be found anywhere on the plane (except for the River of Blood), and no sunlight filled the blood-red sky. The Spellplague, called the Blue Breath of Change by the inhabitants of Abeir, was a disaster that struck Realmspace and even the planes themselves on the date of Tarsakh 29 in the Year of Blue Fire, 1385 DR, and was caused by Mystras assassination at the hands of Cyric and Shar. Innermost planes Shadow dragons and blight dragons lived in the Shadowfell. ![]() They did, however, have a variety of spell-like abilities. Unlike most other true dragons, planar dragons were not natural spellcasters, lacking the affinity for sorcery that other species had. It was an inhospitable locale, filled with vast deserts of black sand and huge plains of dark granite. Planar dragons were true dragons that were native to planes other than the Prime Material plane. 4.1.2 Organized Play & Licensed Adventuresīanehold was one of a number of Outer Planes. \\begingroup\ Re: Forgotten Realms, more recently the 3e Faiths and Pantheons holds that any deity of Divine Rank 6 or higher (so lesser deities and up, distinct from the 1-5 range referred to just as 'demigods') is capable of casting Plane Shift at will as a spell-like ability, so at that point most of them definitely have the capacity to hop between planes at their leisure.
